There are eight levels of membership:

Physicians under the age of 65 years in active practice |

Physicians who currently have or who had practices outside the Hamilton-Wentworth region |

Physicians 65 – 69 years (inclusive) in practice |
| Reduced-Fee |
$100 annually |
Part time physicians working 20 hours or less per week, or those who are absent from practice for periods in excess of four months |
| Full Life |
$35 nominal annual charge |
Physicians not in practice age 65 years and older who wish to continue to receive all Hamilton Academy communications
Physicians under the age of 65 years, not in practice, but who have been members of the Hamilton Academy of Medicine for 25 years or more who wish to continue to receive all Hamilton Academy communications
Physicians 70 years of age and older who wish to continue to receive all Hamilton Academy communications |

Section Fees are set and established by the Executive Committees of the individual sections. Section funds are held in trust by The Hamilton Academy of Medicine, for the use by Sections as they see fit. Section Fee remittance is optional.
Membership Fees are due by May 1 each year.
