The Following sessions will be hosted at the HAM office this Fall:
Module 1: Billing Fundamentals
When: November 6 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm
- How Billing Works
- Do’s and Don’ts of MOH Billing
- Advanced Billing Techniques
- Optimize incentive billings
- Optimize FHO and FHG billings
- Error reconciliation best practices
Module 2: The Role of the EMR
When: November 13 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm
- Specific breakout sessions on Accuro, Practice Solutions and Oscar
- Advanced use of EMRs
- EMR enhancements
Module 3: Clinic Best Practices 1
When: November 20 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm
Learn best practices in the following areas:
- Patient scheduling
- Outside Use
- Roster management
- Roster reconciliation
- Patient centered care
- Patient communication
Module 4: Clinic Best Practices 2
When: November 27 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm
Learn best practices in the following areas:
- Uninsured services
- Human resources
- Privacy
- Health and safety
- Virtual care
- MOH and CPSO
- Compliance

Eligibility Requirements
DoctorCare is in the process of being approved for Canada-Ontario Job Grant (COJG) from the Ministry of Training to cover the majority of the costs of training. In order to support its members and remove financial obstacles, The HAM has agreed to cover the remaining balance of the training cost so there will be no cost to Doctors to participate in this staff training.
You are eligible to participate if you have:
- At least two participants who are in need of training
- Open to considering:
- Increase hourly wages of participants of $1 or more
- Give job title promotions and/or
- Avoid layoff/s
