Congratulations to HAM President Dr. Dennis DiValentino and his co-founders  Dr. Rick Tytus and Dr. Steve Tytus for brining the social innovation called RAMcare to life in Hamilton.   This initiative will address the gaps in care for those patients living in “Code Red” areas of our community.  With the help of the  Hamilton Academy, the Canadian Medical Association,  the Ontario Medical Association, and the Good Shepherd Centre,  virtual care technology that can replicate an “in person” experience anywhere in the city will be implemented through use of mobile medical units.  The units will allow for immediate and improved access to care for marginalized patients in Hamilton. Watch  below to hear Dr. Dennis DiValentio speak about this exciting proposal.

The Hamilton Academy of Medicine is proud to receive the Social Innovations grant by Joule to support our social outreach initiative. HAM thanks our partners and looks forward to moving this project forward.
