There are six levels of membership:

  • Active | $250 annually

    Physicians under the age of 65 years in active practice

  • Full Life | $50 nominal annual charge

    Retired Physicians

  • Honourary | No fee

    Life members who have been inducted by Council to Honourary Status

  • New Member Fee | $75

    First year of membership

  • Resident | $50 annually (1st year no charge)

    Students who are currently enrolled in postgraduate training

  • Medical Student | No fee

    Students who are currently enrolled in medical school

Section Fees are set and established by the Executive Committees of the individual sections. Section funds are held in trust by The Hamilton Academy of Medicine, for the use by Sections as they see fit. Section Fee remittance is optional.

Membership Fees are due by May 1 each year.
